Artist's plectrum masterpiece

Ed Chapman who's a Manchester based artist specialises in mosaics. The Jimi Hendrix mosaic portrait was created for guitar firm Fender. It will be shown  The mosaic is made up of 4,000 multi coloured guitar picks. The piece was created to celebrate him as great musician and the launch of a new album of the late singer’s unreleased material.
Ed isn't one to shy away from using unusual materials in his artwork after previously using coins, glass, sugar cubes and even mobile phones.
